Anti-WDR5B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein WD repeat domain 5B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 330 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.3 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the WD repeat WDR5/wds protein family, WDR5B is believed to function as a a substrate receptor for CUL4-DDB1 ubiquitin E3 ligase complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include WD repeat-containing protein 5B. WDR5B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the WDR5B antibodies listed below. ELISA and Flow Cytometry are also common applications.
