Anti-TSPAN32 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tetraspanin 32. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 320 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is noted to be expressed ubiquitously at low levels. A member of the Tetraspanin (TM4SF) protein family, TSPAN32 is known to be involved with cell to cell signaling and cytoskeleton organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include PHEMX, PHMX, TSSC6, pan-hematopoietic expression protein, protein Phemx, and ART1. TSPAN32 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TSPAN32 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
