Anti-TMEM26 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 26. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 368 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. TMEM26 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of TMEM26 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for these antibodies.
