Anti-TMEM143 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 143. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 459 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the hippocampus, heart muscle, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. TMEM143 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the TMEM143 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
