Anti-REXO4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein REX4 homolog, 3'-5' exonuclease. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 422 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the REXO4 protein family, REXO4 is known to be involved with DNA repair and the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include REX4, RNA exonuclease 4 homolog, XPMC2 prevents mitotic catastrophe 2 homolog, Xenopus prevents mitotic catastrophe 2 homolog, exonuclease XPMC2, and RNA exonuclease 4. REXO4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the REXO4 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
