Anti-TMEM218 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 218. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 115 amino acid residues and a mass of 12.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. A member of the TMEM218 protein family, TMEM218 is suspected to be involved in ciliary biogenesis or function. The TMEM218 gene has been associated with the disease, Joubert syndrome. TMEM218 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Indicated applications for TMEM218 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
