Anti-SNX11 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sorting nexin 11. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 270 amino acid residues and a mass of 30.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Sorting nexin protein family, SNX11 is known to be a phosphoinositide-binding protein involved in protein sorting and membrane trafficking in endosomes. SNX11 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the SNX11 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
