Anti-RPN3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RPN3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PSMD3 gene, which encodes proteasome 26S subunit, non-ATPase 3. This protein is a known component of the 26S proteasome, a multiprotein complex involved in the ATP-dependent degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. The human version of RPN3 has a canonical amino acid length of 534 residues and a protein mass of 61 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include P58 and S3. Western Blot is the most common application for the RPN3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
