Anti-Mediator complex subunit 19 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene MED19 in humans. The gene may also be known as DT2P1G7, LCMR1, MED19AS, mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 19, and lung cancer metastasis-related protein 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 26.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
