Anti-Clox antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Clox antigen is another term for the human protein cut like homeobox 1, encoded by the CUX1 gene. The protein is a reported transcription factor involved in the control of neuronal differentiation in the brain. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1505 residues and a mass of 164.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The Clox protein is a member of the CUT homeobox protein family. Other alias names for Clox include CASP, CDP, and CDP/Cut. Western Blot is the most common application for the Clox antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
