Anti-MAML1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein mastermind like transcriptional coactivator 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1016 amino acid residues and a mass of 108.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is reported to be widely expressed with highest levels in heart, pancreas, peripheral blood leukocytes and spleen. A member of a the Mastermind protein family, MAML1 is known to act as a transcriptional coactivator for NOTCH proteins. Synonyms for this target antigen include Mam1, mastermind-like protein 1, mastermind homolog, mastermind-like 1, and Mam-1.
