Anti-LIN28 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LIN28 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LIN28A gene, which encodes lin-28 homolog A. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and neuronal differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of LIN28 has a canonical amino acid length of 209 residues and a protein mass of 22.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis. LIN28 is a member of the Lin-28 protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the LIN28 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
