Anti-HOXD10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein homeobox D10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 340 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is reported to be highly expressed in the adult male and female urogenital tracts. A member of the Abd-B homeobox protein family, HOXD10 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. The HOXD10 gene has been associated with the disease, Vertical talus. Synonyms for this target antigen include HOX4D, HOX4E, Hox-4.4, homeobox protein Hox-D10, homeo box 4D, and HOX4. HOXD10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of HOXD10 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
