Anti-Dopachrome tautomerase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DCT in humans. The gene may also be known as TYRP2, DT, TRP-2, L-dopachrome tautomerase, and L-dopachrome Delta-isomerase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 59.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
