Anti-HAKRD antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HAKRD is a known alias name of the protein aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C2, encoded by the AKR1C2 gene in humans. This 323-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in epithelial cell differentiation and GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in fetal testes. Other synonyms for HAKRD include AKR1C-pseudo, AKR1C-pseudo, and BABP. Indicated applications for HAKRD antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
