Anti-Helicase like transcription factor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene HLTF in humans. The gene may also be known as HLTF1, HIP116, HIP116A, RNF80, DNA-binding protein/plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 regulator, and RING finger protein 80. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 113.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
