Anti-Flotillin 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FLOT2 in humans. The Flotillin 2 protein has a reported amino acid length of 428 and an expected mass of 47.1 kDa. The protein may also be known as ECS-1, ECS1, ESA, ESA1, Flotillin 2 (epidermal surface antigen 1), and epidermal surface antigen. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
