Anti-ATHL1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ATHL1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PGGHG gene, which encodes protein-glucosylgalactosylhydroxylysine glucosidase. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of ATHL1 has a canonical amino acid length of 737 residues and a protein mass of 80.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. ATHL1 is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 65 protein family.
