Anti-Hdc homolog, cell cycle regulator antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene HECA in humans. The gene may also be known as HDCL, HHDC, dJ225E12. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 58.8 kilodaltons in mass. The HECA marker can be used to identify Mast Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
