Anti-CNOT10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 744 amino acid residues and a mass of 82.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the CNOT10 protein family, CNOT10 is a known component of the CCR4-NOT complex which is one of the major cellular mRNA deadenylases and is linked to various cellular processes including bulk mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational repression during translational initiation and general transcription regulation. CNOT10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CNOT10 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
