Anti-Centrosomal protein 170 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CEP170 in humans. The gene may also be known as FAM68A, KAB, KIAA0470, centrosomal protein of 170 kDa, and KARP-1-binding protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 175.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
