Anti-HBGFR antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HBGFR antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FGFR1 gene, which encodes fibroblast growth factor receptor 1. This protein is known to function in cell migration and MAPK cascade signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of HBGFR has a canonical amino acid length of 822 residues and a protein mass of 91.9 kilodaltons, although 21 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include BFGFR, BFGFR, and CD331. Some HBGFR antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
