Anti-Androgen Receptor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene AR in humans. The Androgen Receptor protein has an expected mass of 99.2 kDa, but there are 4 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as DHTR, HUMARA, TFM, AIS, AR8, and dihydrotestosterone receptor. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
