Anti-ADCAD1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ADCAD1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MEF2A gene, which encodes myocyte enhancer factor 2A. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of ADCAD1 has a canonical amino acid length of 507 residues and a protein mass of 54.8 kilodaltons, although 8 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as RSRFC4. Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for ADCAD1 antibodies.
