Anti-TMEM214 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 214. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 689 amino acid residues and a mass of 77.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TMEM214 protein family, TMEM214 is known to be involved with the apoptotic pathway. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. TMEM214 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TMEM214 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
