Anti-Myosin heavy chain 7 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene MYH7 in humans. The gene may also be known as B-MHC, MPD1, MyHC-I, myosin, heavy chain 7, cardiac muscle, beta, myosin-7, and CMD1S. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 223.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
