Anti-LMBR1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein limb development membrane protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 490 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be widely expressed with strongest expression in the heart and pancreas. A member of the LIMR protein family, LMBR1 is believed to be a type of membrane receptor. The LMBR1 gene has been associated with the disease, Preaxial polydactyly. Synonyms for this target antigen include differentiation-related gene 14 protein, limb region 1 homolog, and limb region 1 protein homolog. LMBR1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the LMBR1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
