There are over 85600 anti-IDS antibodies from over 30 different suppliers shown below. You can also read 3 reviews from researchers who have used these antibodies in applications like Western Blot Analysis with a wide variety of samples such as Mouse Lysates and BPH1 Cells.
In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, iduronate 2-sulfatase (IDS). Orthologs for IDS have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken. Note that other genes and antigens may also have an alias name of "IDS".
The canonical IDS protein is 550 amino acids in length, 61.9 kDa in mass, and has a lysosomal subcellular localization. It is a member of the Sulfatase protein family. IDS functions in iduronate-2-sulfatase activity and calcium ion binding, as well as having a role in metabolism. Tissue-specific expression of IDS has been observed in several tissues, including kidney, liver, lung and placenta. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably proteolytic cleavage and glycosylation.
Synonyms for this protein include: ID2S; MPS2; SIDS; alpha-L-iduronate sulfate sulfatase; iduronate 2-sulfatase 14 kDa chain.
