The gene may also be known as MCPH12, PLSTIRE, cell division protein kinase 6, and serine/threonine-protein kinase PLSTIRE. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 36.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
