Anti-PDCD2L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein programmed cell death 2 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 358 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.4 kDa. It is reported to be highly expressed in the lung, colon, mammary gland, cervix, stomach and small intestine. PDCD2L is known to be involved with the apoptotic pathway and the cell cycle. Synonyms for this target antigen include programmed cell death protein 2-like. PDCD2L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PDCD2L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
