Anti-GRASP55 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GRASP55 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GORASP2 gene, which encodes golgi reassembly stacking protein 2. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and Golgi organization, among other biological roles. The human version of GRASP55 has a canonical amino acid length of 452 residues and a protein mass of 47.1 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER and Golgi of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include GOLPH6 and GRS2. Western Blot is the most common application for the GRASP55 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
