Anti-Tripartite motif containing 21 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TRIM21 in humans. The gene may also be known as RO52, SSA1, RNF81, Ro/SSA, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM21, and 52 kDa Ro protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 54.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
