Anti-BIN3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein bridging integrator 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 253 amino acid residues and a mass of 29.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. BIN3 is known to be involved in cytokinesis and septation where it has a role in the localization of F-actin. BIN3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some BIN3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
