Anti-WD repeat domain, phosphoinositide interacting 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene WIPI1 in humans. The gene may also be known as ATG18, ATG18A, WIPI49, WD repeat domain phosphoinositide-interacting protein 1, and WIPI-1 alpha. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 48.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
