Anti-GEMIN7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein gem nuclear organelle associated protein 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 131 amino acid residues and a mass of 14.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. A member of the Gemin-7 protein family, GEMIN7 is known to be involved with RNA splicing. Synonyms for this target antigen include gem-associated protein 7. GEMIN7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the GEMIN7 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
