Anti-ANAPC2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein anaphase promoting complex subunit 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 822 amino acid residues and a mass of 93.8 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Cullin protein family, ANAPC2 is known to be involved with cell differentiation and cell division. Synonyms for this target antigen include APC2 and cyclosome subunit 2. ANAPC2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ANAPC2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies.
