Anti-Cyclin dependent kinase 5 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CDK5 in humans. The gene may also be known as LIS7, PSSALRE, cyclin-dependent-like kinase 5, and TPKII catalytic subunit. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 33.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
