Anti-CD159a antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CD159a antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KLRC1 gene, which encodes killer cell lectin like receptor C1. This protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of CD159a has a canonical amino acid length of 233 residues and a protein mass of 26.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells. Other names for this target antigen include NKG2 and NKG2A. Western Blot is the most common application for the CD159a antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
