Anti-CAB1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CAB1 is a known alias name of the protein calcium voltage-gated channel auxiliary subunit beta 1, encoded by the CACNB1 gene in humans. This 598-amino acid residue protein is a regulatory subunit of L-type calcium channels. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the heart ventricle.
