Anti-Adenosine deaminase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ADA in humans. The gene may also be known as adenosine aminohydrolase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 40.8 kilodaltons in mass. The ADA marker can be used to identify Common Lymphoid Progenitors (CLP).* Based on gene name, E. coli, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
