SERT is a reported alias of the human protein 'solute carrier family 6 member 4', encoded by the gene SLC6A4. Anti-SERT antibodies are available from several suppliers. The full protein is reported to be 630 amino acid residues in length. Based on antigen name, there may be canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat variants of this protein. Antibodies to the SERT antigen may be useful for studying neurotransmitter signaling. See the antibody supplier page for important details, including specific immunogenicity and validated applications.
