Anti-EFO1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the EFO1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ESCO1 gene, which encodes establishment of sister chromatid cohesion N-acetyltransferase 1. This protein is known to function in DNA replication, among other biological roles. The human version of EFO1 has a canonical amino acid length of 840 residues and a protein mass of 95 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. EFO1 is a member of the Acetyltransferase protein family. Indicated applications for EFO1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
