Anti-AIM1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AIM1 is a known alias name of the protein crystallin beta-gamma domain containing 1, encoded by the CRYBG1 gene in humans. This 1723-amino acid residue protein is believed to function as a suppressor of malignant melanoma. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term ST4 is another synonym for AIM1. Indicated applications for AIM1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
