Anti-RAB5 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene RAB5A, or 'RAB5A, member RAS onco in humans. The 215-amino acid protein is a member of the Small GTPase superfamily, Rab family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and membrane-associated.
