Anti-XPID antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target XPID is a known alias name of the protein forkhead box P3, encoded by the FOXP3 gene in humans. This 431-amino acid residue protein is a reported transcriptional regulator which is crucial for the development and inhibitory function of regulatory T-cells (Treg). It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lymph node, lung, and appendix. Other synonyms for XPID include AIID, DIETER, and IPEX. Western Blot is a widely used application for the XPID antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
