Anti-CAF1B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CAF1B is a known alias name of the protein chromatin assembly factor 1 subunit A, encoded by the CHAF1A gene in humans. This 956-amino acid residue protein is an important component of the CAF-1 complex, a complex that is thought to mediate chromatin assembly in DNA replication and DNA repair. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
