Anti-REEP5 antibodies are reagents for the detection of the antigen 'receptor accessory protein 5' in immunological applications such as Western blot, flow cytometry, IHC, and ELISA. The REEP5 gene is reported to play a role in heart function and development by regulating the organization and function of the sarcoplasmic reticulum in cardiomyocytes. In humans, the canonical REEP5 protein has an amino acid length of 189 residues and a mass of 21.5 kDa. It is a proposed housekeeping gene and is widely expressed across many tissues, notably the heart, brain, circumvallate papillae and testis.
