Anti-PLCbeta1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PLCbeta1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLCB1 gene, which encodes phospholipase C beta 1. This protein is known to function in nervous system development and fat cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of PLCbeta1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1216 residues and a protein mass of 138.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the hippocampus, duodenum, cerebral cortex, caudate, and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include DEE12, EIEE12, and PI-PLC. Indicated applications for PLCbeta1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
