To test the time course effect of a growth factor on PLCB1 expression in a mouse cell line. The mouse primary cell line was growth-arrested for 12 hrs in a medium devoid of FBS and treated without or with growth factor, prepared protein extracts, and an equal amount of proteins were resolved in 8% SDS-PAGE. The resolved proteins were then western transferred in a nitrocellulose membrane and probed with PLCB1 specific antibody. Ab selection from MyBioSource.com was based on the merits indicated in the antibody flyer.

PLCB1 from MyBioSource.com was a polyclonal antibody, and it has detected a very specific band of PLCB1 protein. Sadly, many nonspecific bands with high intensity were observed at the lower molecular weight.
