Anti-Neutrophil cytosolic factor 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene NCF2 in humans. The gene may also be known as p67 phox, NCF-2, NOXA2, P67PHOX, neutrophil cytosol factor 2, and 67 kDa neutrophil oxidase factor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 59.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
